This life is but for a moment - a blink of an eye - compared to the eternal timeframe that is operating up in heaven. We will spend the rest of eternity with God once we enter into heaven.
Only God knows what is best for us on all matters - we do not! Only God's knowledge and wisdom is perfect in all matters - ours is not! Only God knows what we will be best at in this life - we do not! Only God knows who our true soulmate should be in this life - we do not!
And the only way to get God's perfect protection and perfect guidance in our life is to fully surrender our entire life over to Him and let Him place us in His perfect will for our life.
Reflection:
Ask yourself, do you want to call all of your own shots and do what you want to do in this life? Or do you want to go with God's perfect will for your life?
The Best Solution:
That it really will be "worth your while" to fully surrender your entire life over to God the Father, let Him place you in His perfect will for your life - and then do the best job you can on whatever He calls you to do for Him on a daily basis with whatever time you still have left down here on earth.*
