Independence

What is meant by the word independent? In the dictionary, it is an adjective form which means free from the influence, guidance, or control of another or others. In mathematics, it means relating to a system of equations no one of which can be derived from another equation in the system. To human majority it means being self reliant in all aspects of your life whether be simple or complex and being able to live without the touch of another living. Too many people fight just to be independent, if we have to read all the history of humanity since the year of B.C. or ever since the world has created we have been fighting for independence. Biblically speaking, in the book of Genesis our first parents, Adam and Eve also fought from being dependent to God by not following his command not to go near the tree of life but because they are abound to wanting independence they were captivated by the evil and discovered the truth that they are dependent to God and saw themselves naked and which by the way the origin of the "Original Sin". How about when Moses led the Israelites to be free from the Egyptians? How about the history of Roman empires? It is all about the conquest to freedom, to independence.
But what does independence really means? Are we humans capable of living without being dependent to others? How about emotional support? Isn't it we need our family and friends? How about financial support? We rely from others to support ourselves financially, right? Even the richest men in the world need other people with their finances, why you asked? Because they need people to work for them, imagine if no one is working below Donald Trump or Bill Gates or Conrad Hilton, will they reach their financial goal alone? My answer would always be no!

Even God have not permitted man to live alone. In the book of Genesis He says, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make a suitable partner for him."

Can you see the picture?

On my opinion, independence is just a state of mind; we are not capable of living alone; we need others to care for us, to love us, to need us.

We are not born nor entitled to live alone... We are born to be united... by God.
