The Ten Commandments

God's Revelation in the Old Testament.

The 10 Commandments are found in the Bible's Old Testament at Exodus, Chapter 20. They were given directly by God to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai after He had delivered them from slavery in Egypt:

'And God spoke all these words, saying: 'I am the LORD your God…

ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'

THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'

FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'

SIX: 'You shall not murder.'

SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'

EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'

NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'

Whom I Call My Own

Love is the sweetest thing ever created in life yet the most dangerous and the most depressing thing I've ever known. But love remains sweet no matter how depressing it seems --when you have found the person you call your own; where you are not sharing him/her with someone else. He or she is just yours, 100 percent yours... Someone whom you call, "MY OWN."

"There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
no disease that enough love will not heal;
no door that enough love will not open;
no gulf that enough love will not bridge;
no wall that enough love will not throw down;
no sin that enough love will not redeem...
It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble;
how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.
If only you could love enough you would be
the happiest and most powerful being in the world...

Man--if you love her, forget about pride, money, fame or what other people have to say because guaranteed and I am a witness of this, if you are with somebody you truly love; money, fame and other good things will come along. Learn to fight for what you believe in; for what you really want! Who cares about what other people have to say! The most important thing is you are with the one you truly love.

If you'll ask me, I want the same thing; someone whom I call my own man! You see, I grew up without my father with me. I don't have a man figure; I don't even know how to move a man. Honestly! Though I believe that if my man is willing to work things out with me, I'll learn to figure it out. It may take some time but it will worth trying. Just work it out with me...
Remember, forget about pride! It's as simple as that!
